hey evryone! i got 90/100 in the exam...so happy..my hsc mark was only 89 tho. my assessments & rank let me down a bit....altho our class was like very close it was alwayz changin. im still pretty happy...i had g fever a lot of the yr so im stoked to get that...& the rest subjects were pretty...

Re: Textiles 2008 i did collette dinnigan.....do you get to choose? we like got assigned collette, we didn get a choice. but she pretty easy to do anyway.

yeh me too. i was told there would prob def be a question on weeds..n there was nothing! & yeh more first aid wouldve been really good. overall i don think it was too bad...cant memba exactly atm but i jus kinda blabbed on heaps for the extended response...i put mine in dot points so i jus kept...

yeh same. lol. i was sure purple moon would b good..but i alwayz think the same thing so shoulda guessed. lol & i love your coat. you def deserve to get in to texstyle. we havnt seen ur boxes yet..:(...but i doubt mine would get in there tho. & i really wouldnt be worried.

k i kno this has been asked but yeh wat were the NEW principles of dyeing??? my teacher showed us stuff from the text book & like the principles that were in there were the ones we'd learnt... like wetted out, immersion, agitation..yeh you all know them.. so i don get it..

yeh they are the priciples...like wetting out the fibres, immersion, agitation, migration etc. so sounds like you did the right thing.

i answered it..i jus cant rememba which anwer i put down, & i didn mark it on the question sheet that i took out of the exam. but yeh exams do cause you to make not so good decisions.

yeh tell me bout it. you so used to it that it hard to say wat looks good & wat doesnt, thats why its alwayz good to get other peoples opinions wen your working on it. a wall hanging sposed to be continuously on display but rite now im jus sik of looking at it.

really we started in like xmas hols...yes we had holiday & weekends & afternoons at times....which im so glad for coz yeh stuff always goes wrong, ur original plan doesnt work out or you run out of a material, thread etc & the shop no longer supplies it...so a lot of lessons in class wasted...

yeh i don kno many ppl in my year that finishd even the girl that gets like 98% missd out on 20 marks..i did more than that but i didnt get to finish it, i definitely needed more time. there was a lot of probability in it tho. personally im hoping i can still get bout an 85 for it.... oh &...

hey evry 1. i only jus found this forum through the exam thoughts..we got our projects sent to our skool like 1st wk bak of term but we havnt seen them yet & we don get 2 till this friday coz that wen all the art, textiles & woodwork from our skool are displayed :( how late did you all start...

is anyone here doing the primary industries exam on monday? ive done practice questions and did quite well in the trial so am hoping the same for the hsc... anyone else got any other thoughts about it? theres such limited posts for PI.
