    Year 11 2014 Chat :)

Soz to interject but the current HSC English is literature studies. You don't need literatures for the foundations of a society like ours. Yes it can enrich it, but isn't a necessity. (Unlike maths)

    Truongs VS Private

I've been to truongs and I've had experiences with private tutoring as well. Imo, truongs is only good if you're gifted enough to keep up. It's harder if you don't regularly study and make an effort to understand the content because tbh truongs is rote learning math. I quit when they finished...

    Some Advice in 3u

I think confidence is a mentality thing. If you've done a lot of practice just be reassured that you know your stuff. Don't let pressure of exams get to your head! That's why people tend to crash during exams even if they know everything outside of it. And there's no regulated way of "getting...

How to actually WRITE a speech effectively

To differentiate your speech from an essay, try adding inclusive language like "we" and "our" etc. make your sentences short. You also may want to repeat defining statements here and there just in case the marker forgets what you said (only if you have enough words though, orals are often very...

    Time Management

it depends on the type of person you are but usually creating a timetable and blocking out all your commitments help because you see what free time you have. planning ahead + micromanaging (kinda) is always a good idea, i.e. writing a massive list of everything you need to do and breaking...
