    adf gap year (hsc'23)

I have a friend who's doing it at the moment. They found out around a month before that they were accepted, but they did a bunch of physical tests a few months beforehand. Good luck with the application, hoping it goes well!

    How to prep for uni

Chill first... that should be your number one priority. If you wanted to get ahead on uni content, you can read documents on course sturcture and stuff like that so you know what to expect going in. And yeah, uni is like high school but better... whilst it feels like you're doing the HSC all...

    Job help(NO JOKES PLZ)

    Nope, I don't work there

    Job help(NO JOKES PLZ)

Yeah, I can attest to that because the company I work for is a local business.

    Job help(NO JOKES PLZ)

Actually no, it's relatively straight forward. With Maths it's all about basic counting, multiplication and division and all that, and for English it's about getting kids up to speed on their phonics and reading comprehension abilities.

    Job help(NO JOKES PLZ)

Sure. I won't reveal where exactly I work, but my rates are generally about $30 an hour, $40 for HSC students. It's pretty easy work in the sense that you indicate to your boss what you're more comfortable with tutoring, and they'll have all the resources you need ready to go at the centre. It...

    Job help(NO JOKES PLZ)

I decided to do tutoring after I finished. I work at a company part time whilst juggling my studies and think it's great for a first job post HSC, especially since you've just been through school, so you're in a better position to help primary school and high school students alike with whatever...

    ANU entry ATAR question

Yeah, I didn't apply for early entry and I still got in, so you'll be fine!

    How we all feeling??

    ^^^^^

    Canberra decriminilisation

To be fair, you'll find the majority of people at ANU are not into drugs.

    memorising

Well that's a matter of developing your vocabulary from a young age so that it's easier to naturally incorporate it in your essays. It's obviously too late for that now, but just use sophisticated buzz words for whatever your texts are. And what I meant was that you get the high marks from...
  12. MJRey

    memorising

Yes, it does matter if you want those high marks.
  13. MJRey

    memorising

Yes, I do have some opinions on this subject, and I'm hoping not to be gunned down for them like I was last time because everyone is entitled to their opinions. Do not memorise essays for the HSC. You said yourself that you did really well without memorising your essays, and it's most likely due...
