    Internal Program Transfer

comm/adv maths has lots of bonus points tho op even if youre very mathematically inclined, i still think youll get a higher wam if you do commerce/adv maths. In the end, you have to do commerce subjects in actuarial so you may as well start from semester 1. also, do math1151 and pass that...

Define 'external stability' in a single, concise sentence.

external stability is a goal in which an economy can achieve its economic goals, such as economics growth and price stability, through the management of its external obligations.

Says the accountant lol Actuarial grads get a pretty comfortable salary upon graduating. However, you can obtain a much greater salary pretty quickly. If you've completed your part II exemptions upon graduating, you should be able to expect ~$150k in a few years time. The salary that an actuary...

    USYD or UNSW Commerce?

I'd say that knowing the director gets you ins with most subcommitees at most societies. There are plenty of directors at BSOC who picked subcom on merit (most of the directors). I think the shitfights starts when trying to win executive positions; the team v team structure just encourages...

    Bachelor of Commerce and Economics

A lot of students take commerce/economics double because they are sure they want to work in a business field, but are unsure which part of business. Three years is a short time to decide your future (or your next decade at least). Commerce/economics provides two qualifications which are very...

    Actuarial Studies

Plenty of students studying actuarial studies studied Eng/MX1/MX2/Phys/Chem in HSC. It's a bit difficult to describe actuarial content to a high school student. Thus far, I've found actuarial to be the intersection of probability and finance. In terms of finance, I think it can best be...

To anybody reading any thread regarding actuarial, please read/accept/cherish all the advice MrEditor gives. While he may be a first year, all first years studying Actuarial at UNSW have a fantastic opportunity through ASOC to speak with older/wiser students and graduates/managers at networking...

    USYD or UNSW Commerce?

To be fair, BSOC isn't the sydney boys high circle jerk that people make it out to be. While breaking into an executive position within the society requires lots of popularity, there isn't a disproportionate amount of sydney boys high students running for these positions. After all, BSOC is the...

SGP: is interview enough primary data?

I don't know if this helps, but all the trains in the north-west rail link go to epping, not to central. Hills people (such as myself) will need to make a transfer at epping station, which means that the fact that the harbour bridge cant handle any more double decker trains is irrelevant
