huh? didnt u guys do complex numbers in MATH1151? so was MATH1151 as hard as i got warned it was? :)

oh yeah assignment 2 & 3 were trains 4 us, & assignment 3 was the 'jump off the balcony' killer... did any1's network / location end up workin?

if i remembered it correctly it was in math1131 dat they explained it & spent 1-2 weeks on it, whereas math1141 only 2-3 lectures. in math1151 they jus skip it. (seriously dont go near math1151 unless u hve to ie actuarial students, cos it'll be more benefitial for u 2 spend time on ur other...

so the theme 4 the assignments doesnt change each year? cos i thought they did - the year b4 us did a mahjong assignment which sounded alot more do-able than the trains hehee :)

higher computing is definately worth doing, Richard is the best lecturer u'll ever get!! though the assignments in higher comp is ALOT ALOT harder than the regular comp, but its so rewarding when u get it 2 work :) :) in the lectures u get a 2-3 min break every 10 min!!! there's also alot...

hehee :) :) yeah u dont miss out much in INFS1603 lectures, the lecturer jus reads out the lecture notes (which is available online b4 hand) u should always do all ur tut work though, cos the final exam is nearly exactly the same as them

i did 2 INFS subjects last year (INFS1603 & INFS1611) & i didnt find it interestin, but they're subjects dat u will do well in if u can memorise the txtbk / lecture slides. u practically dont need to go to any INFS1603 lectures, i think only 1/10 of the ppl actually goes, well maybe 1/2 on...

in the 1st few lectures but sumtimes even if they say it's a prescribed text, u mite still be able to do fine without it esp the computing courses - COMP1011/COMP1711, COMP1021/COMP1721

its called B Commerce / B Science (Computer Science) there's no degree that's just computing :)

No worries, as a referenece, a friend of mine got a UAI of 94.9 and achieved uni results of 4 DNs and 4 CRs in B Commerce @ Usyd, then transferred to B Commerce @ UNSW. So i guess with your UAI being 95.9 you probbly wont need to get 4 DNs & 4 CRs :) Good Luck :)

u can only count a max 50% of the credit points for the program eg it takes u 3yrs to finish a Comm degree, so only 1.5yrs of its subjects can be credited from another university for official info, check the UNSW Undergraduate Handbook
