I completely ignored my estimate - it really depends on your subjects, your ranking etc etc And the estimate is just completely raw- who knows how much you will improve over the next 4 weeks?! :idea:

After we did our trials we went and got an estimated ATAR based on previous year's performances and aggregates etc There was absolutely NO POINT to it 'cos it didn't include scaling etc and wasn't based on our whole internal mark But the estimated still freaked me out 'Cos I want soooo badly...

I would say it would be better to have the smarter people, because that can bring you up :)

The most effective way to learn things... well, for me, I've found it's having some actual interest in the subject. And I truly think that is the most important factor determining your results. You can study all you like, but if you don't care about what you're learning, it's not going to sink...
