Awesome. Thanks. And also, is it just me, or is metime just a waste of time?

    The McDonald's Thread

I've just been offered a job and have been invited to their orientation. Has anyone had an "orientation" or did they just get into the job? Apparently, I'm supposed to get my work uniform on that day but what am I supposed to wear to the day?

Thanks for the tip. I did that yesterday and I'm deciding between ACP and Atomic.

    Conficker worm. Beware!

I read about that worm on Wikipedia while I was searching an article on it. It makes me wonder though, can people actually track down the source of the worm, ie. who created it?

    Gaming & Technology Magazines

I'm actually into a mixture of both - games, hardware and test performances and sometimes the odd tutorial on how to speed up your computer, set up your own wireless network and stuff like that. I know Atomic does a pretty good job at it but how about PC User and PC Authority?

    Gaming & Technology Magazines

I heard from a friend that PC Powerplay mostly focuses on games. Is that true or is my friend's comment unreliable?

    Gaming & Technology Magazines

I was thinking of subscribing to an Australian Gaming and Technology magazine. Does anyone have any suggestions? On top of my head, I can think of: 1. APC 2. Australian PC User 3. Netguide (AU) 4. PC Authority 5. Atomic

    Whaaatt

If you're using Firefox 3.0.5: 1. Click on View at the top of your browser. 2. Hover your cursor over Character Encoding. 3. Is there a symbol marked next to Unicode UTF-8? If you: 1. Follow steps 1+2 from above. 2. Click Customise List 3. In the Active Character Encodings: table, what...

Is anyone still using dial-up internet access?

I don't use dial-up anymore and I don't think a lot of people still do since broadband and even ADSL is relatively cheap these days (not to mention how much faster they are compared to dial-up - unless if you reach your monthly quota).

    Fixed Broadband To Wireless Broadband

I just want it around the house. I was thinking of buying a wireless modem and just connecting it but my main concern is whether or not it will work because of compatibility issues with the new router. I'm with Optus right now and I've heard some people say that only some modem models will...

    Antivirus software

Right now, I use: 1. avast! 2. Zonealarm Pro Firewall (I know it's not an anti-virus software but might as well mention it). I used to use Norton but that slowed my computer down way too much so I opted for avast!

    Fixed Broadband To Wireless Broadband

Right now, I have fixed broadband, ie. it isn't wireless and I can only use the Internet using a modem and a router (for another computer). I was thinking of changing to wireless broadband but unfortunately I do not know the process. Can anyone please tell me what I need to do? Do I need to...

Is GTA 4 avaliable on PS2 or just pS3

It's on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 & just recently, PC. Source: http://www.gta4.net/overview/index.php EDIT: But for the PC version, you'd have to have a killer graphics card to get the most out of the graphical effects of the game.

    Fifa 2009

Yeah, I find crosses not too difficult... Most of the times. But for corners, I've never managed to score an intended corner since Fifa '98 (only because I dropped Fifa and picked it up again once Fifa '06 came out).

    Greatest ever game created....ever

I reckon GTA IV on PS3 is the best. Very realistic, excellent plotline, top-notch graphics and best of all, it's one of the few places on Earth where you can go rampaging, stealing cars and getting chased by cops all without actually getting an actual criminal record. lol

I have a 40 GB right now and the biggest difference/disadvantage is: With the 40 GB, you cannot play PS2 games whereas the 80 GB you can.
