Question - Need help!

Re: 回复: Re: Question - Need help! eh you can't really have an odd function that is greater than a certain number for all values of x anyway, can you?

CSU chem quiz

lol yeah they're like the two most reactive elements there are I wasn't too sure of the inference one with the stuff in UV/acid, and the one where they use Fe and Al in the water treatment process

Rates!!!!! 1 more question

acceleration is constant, so there is no dA however it is also given a formula 5x - e^2x + 3, which is equal to -9.8 this means that x is solvable, and thus not really a variable - so this question makes no sense really

dw I screwed mine up quite a lot I don't think this question makes any sense

Question, this is engineering and physics

I just gave you an equation that can (hopefully) determine the friction

Question, this is engineering and physics

is friction constant? if it is, you can measure the time, and manipulate equations from there net force = force from gravity - frictional force (f) a = gsin@ - f/m s = 1/2(gsin@-f/m)t^2

Some really , really hard maths homework... "SIGH"!

Q is (-34, 34) F is the midpoint, so it is (0, 105) R is the corner of the square next to Q right? R is (0, 42) so FR is 63

yeah, shouldn't be in this forum

6*2pi*60*24 = 54286cm they will be white after a number of seconds n such that n = 7a = 11b + 3 = 17c + 15 where a, b and c (and all other pronumerals) are positive integers 11b + 3, 17c + 15 and therefore 4b + 3, 3c + 1 must both be divisible by 7 this occurs when b =...

x" = 5x - e^2x + 3 = -9.8, 5x - e^2x + 12.8 = 0 inegrate that from 0 to x; 2.5x^2 - 0.5e^2x + 12.8x - 0.5 sub in x=0.3 f'(0.3) =~ 2.65 I have a feeling that that's not right, but hopefully it is

Question: Locus & Parabola

3x+4y+5/sqrt.3^2+4^2 = 4 3x + 4y + 5 = 20 3x + 4y - 15 = 0

CSU chem quiz

yeah it didn't really have much to do with anything

Polynomial question

write it as (x+a)(x+b)(x+a+b) then expand and equate coefficients. There might be a quicker way if you know the root identity things but I cbf learning them

mathematics sucks

when I first did trig and calculus it didn't make all that much sense to me, since I didn't know what it was I was doing - I was just typing the formulas given into the calculator or whatever. just because it doesn't make sense to you doesn't necessarily mean you're bad at it. If you know the...

CSU chem quiz

majority of the questions seemed pretty basic. there were just a few where I couldn't really decide between two answers

More Trig questions

k = tanA/tanB = sinA/cosA * cosB/sinB = sinAcosB/sinBcosA (k-1)sin(A+B) =[sinAcosB/sinBcosA -1] [sinAcosB + sinBcosA] [sinAcosB - sinBcosA] [sinAcosB/sinBcosA + 1] = (k+1) sin(A-B)

More Trig questions

1. draw a triangle and use pythagoras to find the other side 2. express A and C in terms of B and d (the common difference) 3. from another thread: [t = tanx, c = cosx] if you rearrange to find tanb, you get tanb = t/(4+3t^2) now multiply top and bottom by 2c^2 2sc/(8c^2+6s^2) = sin2x/(2c^2 +...

mathematics sucks

well a lot of the circle geo rules are common sense or can be derived easily, however in actually stating what rules you use in a prove/show question.. well that does require memorising I suppose, since you have to know what statements are acceptable, and what ones need to first be derived

Locus.

Re: 回复: Locus. because if point P=A or B, a right angle is not formed if you look at tommykins working, you'll see it involves dividing by 0
20. L

mathematics sucks

I don't actively try and memorise the formulas. Mostly all I remember is stuff like quadratic formula, trig identities/expansions, basic calculus stuff - since they get used so much, and you can't really do questions without them, so they get stuck. Try and derive formulas on your own/solve...
