    Rates of Change [B&C Ex 22.4 Q8]

A point moves along the curve y=\frac{1}{4} x^2. The abscissa of the point changes at the rate of 4 units per second. At what rate is the ordinate increasing when x=3? My working: y= \frac{x^2}{4} \\ \therefore \frac{dy}{dx}= \frac{x}{2}\\ Given: \frac{dy}{dt}=4\\ \frac{dy}{dt}=...

    Half Yearly Exams

I'll bet polynomials :P The teachers doing the papers I will sit in are bound to scab questions here and there from textbooks, I guess I'm just going to make sure I can answer most questions in the textbooks issued + some past paper questions. And thoroughly revise basics.

    What pen do you use?

Fountain pens are overrated, thin gel ink pens (0.28mm~0.4mm) like the Hi-Tec-C or Signo DX's are the best in the world.

    Attaching batteries to your pen?

I found using thinner pens, such as the Hi-Tec-C and Signo Dx's improved my handwriting legibility immensely and my hand doesn't wear out as fast.

Situations in which teachers make themselves look like retards

Luckily this teacher was replaced after two weeks :L Do you still have this teacher? Must suck to put up with it for a year and a bit now. The abundance of shitty chem teachers is just lol. They all share the same traits too; its like they came out of the same "how to be a shitty chem teacher"...

it is possible to get 100 in any subject as a HSC mark right. which is 50.0 scaled

Re: it is possible to get 100 in any subject as a HSC mark right. which is 50.0 scale Unless I was lucid dreaming, in which case I wouldn't be worrying about the HSC at all :spin:

Do teachers treat students differently in year 11?

No way..! With about 2/5 of the grade dropping out, you get these small classes that feel really comfortable and such.
