    No, i didn't define it. I think that would require too many words. But i do plan on defining economic growth, i just need to find a credible source first.

    How do I reference something that is quoted within an article? For example, the Australian newspaper publishes an article by John Smith who quotes David Baker in his article. So say this line was in the article: David Baker states that "skies are blue". How would I reference that? (in text...

    Yeah i would use 'should be'. I think arguing for a compromise would just end up being a discussion, so i'm probably going to argue for environmental protection, with an added disclaimer that though it is important, it should be noted that economic growth is naturally a significant factor.
