help jst skipped entire section of exam

There is so much wrong with this post I don't know whether to consider you a troll or just really, really stupid. For the final time for everyone, the board takes all your sections, adds up the total and gives you a mark out of 105, 3 sections are out of 15 which is paper one total 45 and...

Sydney Morning Herald/Sun Herald taking things out of context?

Just re-confirms my belief that the SMH is a paper on the decline in terms of journalistic quality.

BoS - your one-stop destination for cheating in the HSC

When i saw the article, all I could do was laugh at how hysterically inaccurate and poor the reporting was. McNeilage, that is an absolute disgrace undermining the hard-work and integrity of students in that manner. Somehow she conveniently forgot to quote the key part of the comment "Don't...

The University of New South Wales Open Day - Saturday, 1 September

My second visit to UNSW this year in considering my 2013 studies options, and let me just say they have once again impressed!

    ATAR estimate

I strongly doubt these claims you have made. For all we know you could be doing straight-forward subjects (especially considering your atrocious use of grammar; it wouldn't surprise me if you did). To say that you are insulted, i'm sure the OP, nor anyone else in this thread takes fondly to your...

Will I be getting an ATAR of <30?

You could easily get over 90 if you did well in your externals, I don't understand why people keep doubting themselves with such low atar expectations when they are theoretically do far better than most other people.

Should I put USYD economics or UNSW economics first in my UNI preferences???

Well for a start you could provide is with more information to help you such what you want from a university. They are both extremely good universities for Economics. I would suggest putting UNSW first as the atar entrance rank is higher than Sydney 94~ compared to 90~ so they pretty much work...

Was 3/92 for Business Studies, freaking 75/100 for the trial exam :angryfire:

How hard is it to get an ATAR of 65?

There are so many things to take into account such as moderation of your marks, your performance in the external exam, others performance in the subject which in turn may mean your final mark is actually a lot higher than what it seems it is going to be at this point.

How hard is it to get an ATAR of 65?

That is totally false, you could easily achieve an atar of 65+

Prediction of 2013 ATAR cut-off for subjects

I doubt that they will drop much lower, and if they did, it would be nothing like the drops in atar seen across the board last year. If anything i'd say that atar entrance ranks will remain the same if not rise this year as the trend of increasing university applicants continues. Especially for...
