Don't count on one, but there's a chance. There higher your ATAR is the higher the likelihood you'll pick up a place. There may be no vacancies after main round, but some places may become free due to people not taking their offers up.

Some unis (such as USYD) require you to enroll in person on a certain time and date. If overseas you'll have to get somebody to go in on your behalf to do a proxy enrollment.
Some unis the process is entirely online so all you'll need is internet access.
Always accept your offer and enrol even if you are wanting an offer in a later round.
Your earlier offer may lapse if you don't. It's fairly easy to unenrol if you then receive a later offer.
