how much study are you doing in the holidays?

I'd recommend reading routinely (i.e. set a time aside each day or week) if you enjoy it. Once you begin to neglect reading because of study it becomes increasingly difficult to start again as everything gets more intense. That doesn't mean you can't not read every now and then but I'd be...

    Question.

A long time ago, when I was trying to understanding scaling, I read something about the internal mark not reflecting what it "should" if there was a massive discrepancy between the external mark and internal. However, that doesn't seem to be the case given your information. If I had to guess...

Modern history, legal studies, business studies or biology?

I guess "memorisation" has negative connotations. If you enjoy the content and revise regularly (as was previously suggested) it makes life much easier and will set you up for success.

Modern history, legal studies, business studies or biology?

Isn't that just memorisation? I don't recommend cramming but it is content heavy.

Modern history, legal studies, business studies or biology?

I can vouch for Modern History; it's a great subject. If you find it interesting then I would suggest doing it. However, there is plenty of memorisation...

    Advanced English study guide

I have used some resources by ATAR notes and would recommend them. I didn't rely on this but it was helpful to have when it came around to writing essays and trial exams. However, it will depend on what texts they are studying for Common Mod, Mod A and Mod B as there are multiple possibilities...

    Sydney Uni Scholars

I haven't heard anything yet and my latest email is just confirmation of submitting the application. I presume that they have pushed it back but I don't have any communication to confirm this.

Help me decide what to do with my handwriting D:

I have no clue how someone prints at speed but obviously the first one is much neater. If you got through English Advanced then I think you don't need to improve it at all.

How do you find the time to do practice exams?

^ Just don't burn out and you'll be fine. The HSC is all about getting as close to that line as possible but not touching it (this doesn't have to be a crap experience if you maintain a work-life balance). Since you've got time I would try and experiment with your study schedule and practice...

    2021 LAT Results

I'm not quite sure how they transitioned from it. You would think that the people who got 99.7 would still get in regardless of their LAT but somehow the median atar has dropped to 98 and now 96.9.

    2021 LAT Results

I think the ATAR cut off of 99.7 was before they implemented the lat.

    2021 LAT Results

I was referring to the median for acceptance into UNSW Law as that's what matters the most. I know a score of 79 was the median for acceptance last year, but if that same score has you beating significantly more people this year then surely that's something to consider. I know they don't use the...

    2021 LAT Results

If you got a score of 79 that should be like 80 something percentile. That's definitely above the median... you must be looking at the median for last year.

    2021 LAT Results

Yeah, I just edited what I wrote but it will depend on what adjustment points you are looking at. I know the AAA might count and other equity schemes but I don't think many others do. You definitely aren't going to get points for a B6 in English Advanced like you would with other courses.
