Hahah no. I'm prepared for specifying, but I'm seriously praying for a question that involves all 3. Allows for a more sophisticated answer + so much more depth.
Hey guys :)
For the depth study question, do you reckon it'll be a question encompassing person, ethics, and practice, or one that specifies one of these.
I know last year they specified person, but what does everyone think for this year? :)
I do Romanticism, and it was definitely more challenging than previous years- specifically the essay! However, I personally loved it as an exam overall. Creative fit my memorised one like a glove. Literally wrote it word for word. Haha was about Blake as a poet who endeavoured towards the ideal...
Did HR :)
Used: leadership styles, recruitment, performance management, training and development for strategies. For influences- stakeholders, social, technological, anti-discrimination, EEO.
Really happy overall. The extended response + report were amazing in my eyes :) Perfect questions. Short answers were also great, but definitely messed up Multi Choice (always my weakest due to overanalysing!) Oh well, hopefully it went okay!
1700?!?! Wow... haha :P My essay is around 1500 and creative 1300-1400ish. I memorised my essay/creative quite a while ago just because I knew I had business the day before and would only have the night to study. Let's hope the stimulus isn't too specific!! :)
Yep same here. I talked about how the construction of history fused the rigidity of objectivity with the creativity/subjectivity of the imagination, and how while historians strive towards pure objectivity, often to fill the "silences" etc imagination is necessary. Used historians to show both...
Absolutely loved Section I. Thought it was a really interesting take on things, and allowed you to use a massive range of historians. Ended up using one contemporary writer who used fiction as a medium, contrasted/compared with Thucydides and Herodotus in one paragraph. Then used Ranke...
Awesome :) I'm doing: Von Ranke, Marx, Carr, Elton, Bloch, but I'll probably learn Thucydides and Polybius just for a few Ancient historians. For my case study- Churchill, AJP Taylor, Kennedy and RAC Parker :P
