    question on UMAT

Basically UMAT recycles certain 'type of questions'. Most people have UMAT tutoring of Medentry to familiarise themselves with these type of questions. Unfortunately, most people in my Med year have had tutoring (myself included), though there are others who have not. As long as you become...

Transfer from WSU College to UNSW (Engineering)

Honestly, no one knows for sure. It is most likely a high WAM. Why don't you just shoot them an enquiry/call the administration up? You get the most accurate answer

    Medicine Question

Depends on the University but no you don't. Most people do have high ATARs and UMAT though. You need a high UMAT to get a first round interview or a high ATAR/lower UMAT or relatively high ATAR/relative high UMAT to get a second round interview. You can get special consideration as well if you...

    Medicine Question

I'm pretty sure Macquarie University doesn't have an undergraduate Medicine course atm? (Correct me if I'm wrong). They have a clinical science degree or advanced degrees for individuals who already have an MBBS/MD...

    Midwifery?

I know Deaken's cut off is around 87 ATAR. Most Unis also require you to fill up an additional form (Like newcastle I think), interviews (like UWS) which seem to be weighted quite a bit (: So it is not just ATAR! Frankly, I'm a bit surprised! I never knew the ATAR cut off for Miwifery was...

    80% attendance rule

Apparently they only take the roll in some not all classes (cor certain courses). So depends which class you miss :P Also if you are close to 80%, they tend to let you go

How much WAM is needed to transfer to UNSW/USYD Science?

In all seriousness though, here's a link for undergrad internal program transfer for unsw. Not sure about transfer from other unis, but within unsw the WAM seems to be around 60 to science and around 60-75 for the other degrees classified under science https://student.unsw.edu.au/ipt-science

    Atar estimate please

Friends had similar ones back in '12/13 and had an estimate of 94.75 ! (Might be 95 actually, but around there!)

Paths into Australian Medicine - Flowchart

Yeah, you still have to submit your estimated ATAR :P I did this for Monash Uni. However, I think now interstate students (if they do not request to have an interview before ATARs are out) would have interviews only after their ATAR and UMAT results are known !

UNSW full medicine degree to be offered at Port Macquarie campus

Whole email from the Medicine Dean if you are bothered to read: (Copy and pasted) "Dear Students, For the first time at UNSW, 2017 undergraduate Medicine students will have an opportunity to complete Year 1 and Year 2 (Phase 1) of the program at our Port Macquarie campus. Here they will...

    UNSW Med Foundations

You repeat the Foundations exam not the course. They have a re-sit exam date. But seriously, it is pretty hard to fail Foundations. They repeat past year questions for that course.

Will I get any qualification from Monash University?

Actually, not too sure about that. It is not really officially recognised (even though endorsed by Monash University) and it's similar to those free courses offered by open universities. Personally doubt it really makes much of a difference in your resume (:

Materials Science and Engineering Students, where are you now?

From what I heard, quite a few people in material science engineering try to do Masters (e.g in biomedical engineering), as part of a combined degree.
