A lot of textbooks do have additional info that isn't required by the syllabus. From recollection, biotech is in the course and so is natural selection but I could be wrong.

In half of your ranks, your coming first! That's fantastic! Plus you probably go to a high ranked school so the competition would be greater which makes your ranks more impressive. And your going to blitz the trials which will bring up your ranks even more!

Try punching some numbers into an ATAR calculator. It'll give you a good feel for what kind of marks you'll need to get in each subject to reach your goal :)

Haven't touched prelim in a while, so might be wrong, but I think the reasons for the different circuits include being able to draw a different amount of current for each circuit to suit its use, a circuit breaker can then be adjusted/picked to suit a particular circuit and its current, and if...
