Couldn't you also say that after a given time, the ethanol content would have been high enough to kill the yeast hence stopping the reaction and so no further mass changes would occur? Or all of the sugar was metabolised?
Had a titrations prac test the other day worth 25% :O I think I did ok...just glad I finished the test in time. Physics prac test next week and looming trials is starting to ramp up the stress a little now but otherwise coping good :)
^ this. Go for the full sentences and when you recite it at home for practice, underline/highlight the words you always forget or stuff up so when your in your speech, you just have to look down and remember what to watch out for. Safest is full sentences.
I understood refraction to be the bending of light as it changes speed upon entering a medium with a different optical density
i.e. the medium changes, the speed changes, the angle changes.
What are you doing on so late?
Nah I just had my internet browser open and was still logged in, even though I wasn't using it. Been doing past HSC chem questions for once :) Practice for upcoming prac exam :O
Hows life, my friend?
Like oxalic acid + sodium hydroxide. Oxalic acid is diprotic so you just need to make sure that in your equation, you show the transfer of 2 hydrogens:
H2C2O4 + 2 NaOH -> Na2C2O4 + 2 H2O
Personally I study with a textbook and paper in front of me rather than on a computer, but if your worried about saving paper or something you can probably print double-sided plus reduce the font size/size of diagrams.
I don't like them either - give me a normal test anyday. That being said, just study the theory side of a prac. Your only problem is if you have the practical skills to pull it off without messing it up - but the pracs aren't usually that bad so you'll be fine! :)
