I work mainly in the holidays because i have more time then but during the term i volunteer at a charity store but not a lot. i think it's completely alright to work as long as you can balance it with school.

I used to cram but now i've stopped doing that. you are able to get ok marks that way but i've been getting much better marks by studying beforehand and just quickly revising night before.

Conquering Chem has good exercises to do but I think the explanations are a little too simple. Jacaranda Chem has a lot more information and pictures and stuff so I prefer that one. Haven't used Chem in Context but I've flicked through it and it seems a bit excessive but some people prefer that.
