Seems alright, maybe replace the highish end RAM (1600) with some lower clock speed ram (1066 or 1333) instead and have it at 4GB

depends on the uni, most uni's just have a compulsory 1st year statistics subject which isn't too hard, but I know that some other uni's have a few other statsy subs thrown into an Accounting major (UoM definitely does!) Other than that it shouldnt be too bad.

You can transfer mid-year internally, I know a girl who was doing BA and is now doing BCom after transferring mid year.
