I don't think so, I haven't heard anything on it if we are. Was it in a prac? The maths has fried this little one's brain. (I noticed that when I last had a maths assignment)

    Subject Selection Advice:

As you are going into yr11, try both and you can always drop EE1 during yr 11, or many dropping versions come yr 12. (Never preempt till after yr 11 what subjects to drop for yr 12) I did both the subs you are considering in HSC. I did ATB for my EE1 HSC. It's interesting but I'd say the texts...

St. Andrew's, St. John's, or Wesley? And Why? (USYD Residential Colleges)

No apply for a UNSW and USYD one then before marks. I applied UMELB/UNSW/USYD/ANU because I wasn't sure where I wanted to go. The rego fee for UNSW colleges is very small, USYD ones can be somewhat more exorbitant so it's a risk management strategy. You don't preference USYD colleges. You apply...

Mmmmh GEOS is a nice and interesting subject. Just got the easiest 3.5% from a post lab quiz. Thanks for the recommendation OzKo :) For the strike, my lab will be going ahead and probs the associated lecture, I presume maths lecture will be probs be cancelled as with all the other strikes.

St. Andrew's, St. John's, or Wesley? And Why? (USYD Residential Colleges)

Hello, You should have felt free to start your own thread instead of reviving this one :) You have plenty of time left to decide! I'd suggest when you are coming up closer to college age, you attend the open days and tour the colleges, ask current students opinions etc. Also I suggest when...

    Dance Academy! (:

First five episodes have aired, season 3 is so intense! So like *spoilers*, I'll put it in white text so highlight it to see what I think of the season so far: *Saskia is a psycho, like Ben is even young to be a third year (skipped a year), lolwhut? *At least Tara and Ben tried to keep the show...

The fact this is a sentence makes me think yes. Though we have a future Financial Maths (so not Stats, but stats-esqe) in this thread, so you should not pay out their beloved forms of maths.

    Trial Discussion Thread.

At least it's just a cold, I was paranoid that I had tryposoma or something from being in Africa :P Speaking of cheerleading, should have joined the USYD cheerleaders. They totally wanted me to bring it on in their posse, and I could rock the blue/gold uniform. We could have all totes colour...

    Trial Discussion Thread.

It's the biggest fallacy that students have this mentality, given that HSC is typically more than the 50% in an abstract sense because assessment ranks only count, not the actual marks. So if you are a rank 1 at a rank 150+ school, you'll have to pull it to the table externally anyway. It's...

How possible is it to get ATAR above 91.

Are these pre-trial ranks? Perform well in trials and HSC and you will get 91+, lucky to be at a high ranking school so your assessment rank should be fine. It's very possible. You are probably looking at high 80s atm.

I'm obviously in delusion in MBLG1901 then-what's bad about it? (I haven't had prac yet?) They look okay compared to straight chem (well it's still chem, but not like the crazy chem calcs). Stalker, I also was not at uni today but I only have one lecture on Friday and had something else...

I was already skipping the first day :0 (driving back from Byron) GOODNESS ATTENDANCE NOW ON YES YES. With only one 8AM, no excuses :P I've heard good things about Bill as well. Also lol at your supervisor's tilt head photo. My maths lecturer today was so nice, she had the kinda vibe of that...

Which university? Student life/ courses/ etc

100% always advocate choosing the course and then the uni. I.e picking the best uni for your course Most unis fit the bill of good clubs, friendly people and having good courses in their faculties of excellence. And many unis have a nice feel, you can grasp this more yourself by doing open...

HSC vs university - which is more stressful?

HSC work: *Easier in sheer difficulty *More 'life consuming' due to the hype on it and you feel like you should be studying all the time and have guilt. *Easier because it's quite formulaic learning with strict dotpoint boundaries, and depending on your school ethos, you may be spoonfed without...

Yep, we had three talk to us yesterday, but he was the super, super enthusiastic one and the unit coordinator. One making me to consider 1902. Have you had him as a lecturer much over your geography travails? Also, who is your honours supervisor?

Interfering with your honours work, the plebs who are only in their bachelor's years of B of Drinking and barely scrapping a credit in beer consumption. So first Geography lecture today, seems like a nice oasis, the lecturer was so enthusiastic! *May* do 1902 as the only difference is instead...

    Big Day Out 2014

Re: The p00n thread Just blame the annoying 15 yr olds that now frequent BDO and have urls that are variants of sunsandandslutsteehee77 :P But srs, I do think the quality of the BDO line up has declined with time.

    UTS Communications vs USYD Communications?

A lot of people get hung up, that the higher the cut off is, the better it must be. But there are so many factors to look at. Many different degrees can lead to PR, marketing or journalism, there's not one *stock* degree for it. Though if you are super interested in USYD Media Comm but worried...
