    Transfer after first year

Re: Missed first preference, transfer after first year Thanks, I'm in arts too. The course I want to transfer into had a cut-off of 93.05 for this year. I really don't think I'm going to get in. Suddenly want to shoot all the teachers who said it's easy to transfer once you're at uni.

Let's rant about randoms promoting things.

As far as I can see nobody was actually complaining about them campaigning outside Fisher...

Listening to music whilst doing assignments

Best group ever IMO. Pretty much listened to them through all of my HSC study, it kept me sane.

    Transfer after first year

Missed first preference, transfer after first year Basically, I missed out on the ATAR for my first preference by a measly 0.3 points, so I'm currently doing my second preference for which the entry was about 10 points lower than my ATAR. Question: Realistically, what kind of marks should I be...

    Union Board Election 2010

I feel sorry for Sibella because the Alistair supporters chalked his name bigger underneath hers at the top of the Victoria Park stairs. And so with that valid reason I like Sibella more.

Let's rant about randoms promoting things.

Never had any of my lectures interrupted, from time to time they might be in there before it actually starts though. I don't really have a problem with the chalking either; it's hardly vandalism in my opinion as it disappears so quickly. Oh and this, I love the posters but always wonder how many...

    Union Board Election 2010

I agree. Not because I'm some nationalistic, Aussie-flag-waving bogan, but because they're already going to have to be pretty proficient in English to understand anything in lectures and tutorials. It'd be slightly concerning for them to come to a uni where classes are taught almost exclusively...

    Silent Disco!

Walked past it briefly but I had straight classes all throughout so I didn't get to go. Not to mention nobody I knew was going so I wasn't going to dance around people like a loner.

    Semester 1 Chatter Thread (2010)

Gah, I've hit that point of the all-nighter. Might as well hand this piece of crap in half-finished, it's going to be sorted straight into the 'fail' pile anyway. Woolworths career here I come. Not that there's anything wrong with Woolworths careers...

Are you guys proud/ ashamed of studying at UWS?

I disagree, people at USyd or UNSW are generally no 'less friendly' than anywhere else. Other than that, I agree with everything you said. A specific uni or uni degree doesn't guarantee success - it's all up to the individual.

MyZone - New public transport ticketing

Everything seemed to work well as far as I could see. Heard the opposition's transport minister having a bitch on the news about a lack of tickets and barriers not working etc but from what I saw everything was working completely as usual. I imagine they just took half of the usual/inevitable...

MyZone - New public transport ticketing

Lol stop your bitching, I have to get the MyMulti3 :( Ah well I guess at least the prices have still gone down... Do they still have the Child tickets though? Heard some kids complaining and the website doesn't seem to mention them anywhere. Have they actually made changes to the ticket...
