Workload is the same since you still do 4 subjects a semester for a double degree which is exactly the same for a single degree assuming you're studying a full time load.
yeah essay subjects tend to be pretty hard to get HDs on (I'm doing a predominantly essay course and yeah some of the units have a low HD %, but I'm still on straight HDs after year I :P)
Most Commerce degrees have core subjects which cover the main majors on offer. You'll probably know once you finish the core what you want to major in. Maybe just go to a Uni library and look up books on the core subjects. Some Uni's post their booklists online but I think you'd have to be a...
I go to Monash, luckily I live around 30mins away from it. Sometimes I take public transport to get there and it takes a bit longer but it had no effect on me since I usually just slept on PT.

A fair few cocky kids are in my course, and most of them are unjustified with average marks, not all of them are but a lot act insanely arrogant. I guess I'd be in the middle ;).

My VTAC Prefs were weird, something like
1. Arts/Law @ Monash
2. BCom/BBIS @ Monash
3. BCom @ UoM
4. BCom @ Monash
(Wasn't expecting <90 worst case scenerio)
Didn't bother putting Arts by itself since I knew it'd...
It's great, I do Arts/Law with an International Studies major in the Arts side of my degree. So far it's been pretty good, Law's pretty full on with the readings and all but parts of it are interesting. Arts has been the bludgy side of my degree and I've found that the lecturers and tutors have...
