    Trials!

Already done my trail for History Extension, overall was very happy with it. Section I was on a general how historians interpret the past and the utilisation of sources, and Section II for JFK it was just on how sources have been interpreted and have catalysed the debates. KEEP IN MIND, my...

Has anyone done their modern history trials

I had my paper a couple of weeks ago, wasn't too horrendous. n_n Good luck to those who have their exams coming up. Also, a little note to those asking what questions were in CSSA / Indep. paper, do be careful, some people can give inaccurate information, and it is best to experience the Trial...

    Ancient History Trials ???

My Ancient Trial wasn't that difficult, though that's my thinking after I received my results. Beforehand I was extremely nervous, but all came good. I cover P+H, Sparta, Hatshepsut, and NKE -> Tut IV, which quite a few of us are doing. You guys shouldn't have too much trouble, if you put in...

    Using sources in Ancient History

In essays, such as assignment you would in-text reference (as you demonstrated) or footnote, with bibliographic details and page number. In terms of essays in exams, generally Random Dude argues that "blah blah blah blah" is sufficient. Referecing artefacts and non-literary sources you would...

    UAC is now open

Still deciding! Gosh, everything gets real with all these decisions! Will be going to some Open Days this month, so hopefully with some more pondering some decisions will occur! n_n It's really exciting really.

    Modern Trial.

Wow, the sound like very interesting topics, especially Soviet Russia. (My teacher chose a lot of topics that focus on Germany. D:) Germany 1918-39: Assess the impact of Nazism on Foreign Policy, or To what Extent did weaknesses in the Weimar Republic account for the growth and rise of the...

    Modern Trial.

Completed mine a couple of weeks ago. Got results back end of last week, smashed it. n_n Was extremely happy. What topics do you cover besides the core? Also, glad to hear that you smashed it as well! Congratulations! n_n

How long does it take you to and from school?

I have a 15 minute walk. :) Nice and close to school, yet still have a bit of distance. It's great. n_n

Which subject do you fear the most for the TRIALS?

Done my trials already, but I was seriously stressing about English. u_u

    Studies of Religion Future Help!

Give it a shot. I do the 2 unit course (content is very much the same) and it's not too difficult mind that you study here and there a little. I'd recommend that you try it out, you can always drop it if it does begin to become too much stress or pressure for you. The opportunity to accelerate...

Screwed for trials please help me d:

You're best to check out some of the summary guides for Modern History, which will provide you with a summary, key information, sources, and historiography on each of the dot points that you're after. Some good ones are: The Excel Modern History Study Guide. The Macquarie Modern History...

    Back to School

Ahahaha, be thankful of the extra time you have to study (and stress :P). Most schools do them in Term 3, mine just has a huge candidature of Visual Art and Drama students, so the school tries to cater for them. n_n Best of luck for your exams, hope all goes well!

    Back to School

We have a substantial amount of students who do practical subjects and/or subjects that have major works (which are due this term) so my school sets our Trials early so there's less stress on them, same with students who are wanted to do UMAT and as such, as Trials are complete and they can have...

The date major work is due?

Which case study are you looking at? JFK? Must be a bit of a pain switching and swapping from one to the other, though would be more beneficial for revision. We started the Historians Term 4 (Year 11) and continued until end of Term 1 (year 12) with 1 lesson a fortnight dedicated to the project...

    Hatshesput

Have you had a look at the Resource section of the site? Plenty there up for grabs. Also any study guides would suffice for some supplementation during revision.

    Back to School

Not too bad. Already completed Trials so not a huge amount of stress, just major works that are due, and a couple of assessments. n_n Good luck to those with Assessments and trials.

    Who is starting to stress?

Best of luck to all those who have Trials coming up in the next few weeks. :) So glad mine are done and dusted, just to wait on results! Study Study Study, make the hard work pay off! n_n

The date major work is due?

That sounds more like it! n_n How's English Extension going for you?

The date major work is due?

Footnote is just a form of referencing. Easy to do on microsoft office and as such, and you should be using it to reference sources and historians. n_n The essay is separate from the reference, or so my teacher has stipulated, so it shouldn't interfere with your word count. What topic / area did...
