    Another question...

What I was thinking is that its quite a small business that doesn't want to pay fees or whatever for transferring outside their institution. And Peartie even thats not acceptable. When my mum worked at Bankwest, all of her pay went to a Commonwealth account.

    The Coles Thread

I'd certainly hope Coles would be providing these shirts for their employees. I wouldn't go out and buy a shirt for work for one day in a month.

I highly doubt that this is legal. May I ask what kind of business it is? Definately contact the Workplace Ombudsman to confirm - maybe they can help you with your employer.

Second year student on YA, does the 2009 budget provide me with additional money?

He has to be classed as regional/remote because of his Accommodation Scholarship. I doubt that eligibility would change for someone already on the scholarship, given that they are valid for four years.

    The Woolworths Thread

Apparently, new legislation came in a few months back saying that you have to be 18 to work in s/s, which i think is fair. But my store can't really do it as we dont have that many over 18s that work nights/weekends. ^^According to my SSM. Some CSM's are, however, under the impression that...

I've just finished my first semester, and for all of my units I've been told my participation mark. The way that its been worked out has been different for all of my units. In Politics, participation was out of 15. My tutor said that we got one mark for each tutorial that we attended (so 10...

How long does it take you to get to uni?

About 45 minutes, usually. 15 minute drive to the station, 20 minute train journey, then 10 minute bus. (That includes waiting time and hunting for a carpark at the train station).
