    YES! We have had the exact same problem. We've had the same issue with two of our express registers and one of the smokeshop ones. The express lane I was using on xmas eve overheated about 4 hours before my shift finished - every other register was being used so I did pretty much nothing.

    I agree - minimum that I need to leave the house is wallet + phone + ipod + sunnies + water - let alone anything required specifically for uni/work etc.

    There's no formal training for smokeshop, its just that my store has always had the covers so we have a laminated layout in the drawer of where things are. This allows newbies to learn where everything is and stuff. A lot of people only want one transaction due to bank fees, etc. But I think...

    Those flip covers definately mean less filling, haha. It just means its so much harder for newbies to learn smokeshop, speaking from experience anyway.

    Yep, coles supplies the entertainment book company with gift cards, which the customer must purchase through them. In store, the card has no use.

    I got added onto my parents insurance, and the premium didn't increase at all. At least look into whether or not it would even cost you anything.

    Don't worry about it. My store (in WA) IS open Sunday and Monday and we were busy like that all day today. This is pretty poor though.

    Yep. Type in 7110, press enter, it asks you for the price. Commonly used when people cbf waiting for supervisors for control check (and yes I know that they shouldn't do it, but it gets done at times).

    Exactly - its way too low. There are 16 year olds at Woolies earning more than that.
