Well I only had a group interview. Then two days later the HR Officer rang me to ask if I'd be willing to work at a different store to the one I had applied for. When I said yes, she offered me the job straight away. I guess sometimes you just get lucky.

Just apply everywhere that has vacancies, especially considering that a lot of retail stores will have filled their positions for christmas.

Woolworths was my first job, as well as most people who I work with. Fast food places simply hire almost anyone because they find it difficult to get staff.
