I asked for individual sections of my music exam, so I'll et you know if they were given when I get them (or dont get them).

Im not sure if anyone has posted this, I didnt read through all the replies. Its easy to have a large difference between marks for EE2 - the assessment mark is the process of the major work (ie. the research, work done, etc.) and the assessmets (which are discussing the work you have done)...

Im very disappointed. I am about 5 under what I thought I would get realistically. My goal was about another 5 on top of that :(

My Assessment mark was lower then my exam mark by: 4 in chem 2 in muisic Assessment mark was 6 higher in Extension 2 English.

I ended up getting about 6.5 lower than SAM predicted.

So there is no way the could deduct marks? If thats the case and theres nothing to lose I might apply for a recheck for one of my subjects.

Im not 100% sure. I mixed crime/psychology/slight horror without any problems, my teacher actually said the psychology aspect helped and pulled my mark (for that particular story) up. I guess it depends on how you do it. As long as it is crime I cant see a problem, but I could be wrong.

External dragged me down. I got 46 internal, 40 external! Apparently my story was nowhere near as good as the work that went into it, lol.

Oh ok. I thought they would actually recheck it seeing as though its not like maths where there are heaps of marks to add up.

I didnt conform. I mixed the sub genres. The film Murder By Numbers is a good example of merging sunbenres. It can be considered hard boiled, yet its set in a modern city, no dark streets, and the detective is female. Merges a bit of psychology into it too. Its a good movie, I actually used it...

I was really upset with the scaling and my uai too, so I know how your friend feels. Music was scaled pretty low, and it killed my UAI.

I got 67 for my HSC mark for mathematics. Im confident I could have got at least mid 80 in general. Anyway, my maths mark was scaled down. Not sure how far but it was enough for it to not be included in my UAI.

How come? On the official letter thing I got from BOS with the results it says EE2 cn be rechecked for $12.

Read crime fiction short stories. I found the more I read, the more I picked up, and the easier it became to write them.

Ok, I know I'm a little late, the HSC is finished, and the marks are given, but I'd still like to read peoples opinions on my MW. I perfer honesty, even if its not favourable, so please be truthful.
