Try reading Only Ten by Allan Baillie very short straight to the point. Also the Fr. Chris Riley story is another one for individual and society. You can even use the information about David Hicks as an example of an individual and society.

You need to find texts relating to the theme on journeys I assume you are doing physical journeys, so you need relted texts to physical journeys not just Peter S poems. Examplle any documentaries that relate to journey could use a movie 7 years in Tibet (a journey) but a long movie don't do...
