Have all scholarship offers been given out yet? I am awaiting to hear of a scholarship offer for Engineering and was wondering if the university had already contacted people about these or whether these offers would come out at a later date. Thanks :)

Yeah... I agree with what you're saying, but the problem is that you need that high UAI to get into uni. Getting a good enough UAI is just another hoop you have to jump through... it is just something you have to do, regardless of how relevant it is later on... so I think going to hardcore...

Nah... needed that big fat scholarship to get there :)

Oh wow... yeah I did enter my UAI into the website. I guess there is another week to wait it out and see how it goes... thanks for the help! I will post back here to let you know how I went!

Yeah... I was hoping for that... I'm from Tasmania... so I'm hoping our general 'country bumpkinness' will be able to get us through :) I'm actually looking forward to the interview, because I know that personality-wise I may have a better shot than some people... thanks for the reassurance though!

I have an interview lined up at UNSW... my predicted UAI is 100... I'm not sure how that measures up to TER because my TER should be coming in >99.5... if all goes to plan. My UMAT scores were 54 (73%), 52 (67%) and 52 (57%)... Are my chances for making it into UNSW ok?

Wow! We're like twins! Except my rawscores were 52, 52, 54... and we somehow managed the same percentile :)

LOL... personally I think that's pretty offensive. Clearing up a few things... Chemistry and English are the prerequisites for UTAS... and it's not that easy to get into anyway. You need rawscores upwards of 50 in EACH section to be guaranteed a first round offer as well as a minimum TER of...

Lol ... well she wouldn't be an A grade student without my notes :p because she does sweet f all work herself. I'm not going to be dux because I don't kiss up enough... at our school it has nothing to do with eventual TER marks, but rather on teacher nomination. Anyway, I was just pointing...

I think Bacilli has a point. I generally tend to share my assignments and notes... but because of it there is this girl in my class who is reasonably bright and she is probably going to get dux of the school because she has been copying my maths and physics assignments. I know it doesn't...

And what about the later round of interstaters? :P Perhaps another 30 making the 370 up to 400? I'm pretty sure I have read it is about 500 on the website... so let's not kick up a fuss over 30 interview places Wooz... but... just so that you are happy... I recalculated it and with 470...

The website said overall about 500 interviews will be given... so it works out to be about 39.2% chance of getting in... could be worse!

I hope so! TER of 99.95 converts to UAI of 100 I think. My principal was wishing a little hard there :P I am realistically looking at 99.5ish max
