Yes the content is less heavy than 6 cp SCIENCE courses. However, the work load might be more than BUSS1020, a 6 cp math intro course provided by business school.

I'm thinking about doing MATH3075 next sem. I did STAT2011 but havent done STAT3011 yet. Would you recommend me to go for STAT3011 first and save MATH3075 next year, or it is okay for me to just do MATH3075 next sem without doing STAT3011? I wouldnt say I have a good grounding of probability...

The prerequisite is MATH1001 and MATH1002. If I do MATH1003 and MATH2070 concurrently in semester 2, would it be hard for me to follow the materials in MATH2070?

Sure it is possible to get a D (most people I know get a Credit or D) but people tend to get a good mark in report... I guess your lecturers will provide the past papers. Calm down and listen to the recordings :p

Yes thanks so much! BTW, I'm doing Bachelor of Commerce/ Bachelor of Science as well. For commerce I plan to major in qba and finance and for science I plan to major Stat & Financial Math and Stat.

I am thinking about doing MATH2070/2970 next sem. One issue concerning me very much is that I don't know how hard this unit is and how assessments go. There are computer labs but I've never done INFO or COMP before. Anyone here can offer some advice for me? Many thanks!

Advanced units are harder, but it's not necessarily harder to get a credit. Taking the 'easy' units is not usually the way to get higher marks in CHEM. If the CHEM unit is designed as a foundation, there may be few opportunities to get higher marks in it. Easier to pass but harder to get high...

First year WAM doesn't count for honours, so please feel free to do some hard units. I would do some more advanced units, say CHEM1903 and CHEM1904, special study program. Advanced units can give you more insights I reckon.
