    am i allowed to use 3u methods in a 2u exam as a 2unit student?

    So I am allowed to learn stuff that is not taught ie 3u methods; u-sub and auxillary to use in the 2U exam as a 2U student? Just clarifying I felt like I worded the original post poorly.

    am i allowed to use 3u methods in a 2u exam as a 2u student when my teacher hasn't taught me it (cause im 2u only)? i feel like some methods are actually easier for example to name a few U-sub for integration and auxiliary angles? and also are 3u students allowed to use 3u methods in 2u exams...
