Re: USYD vs UTS. Who's better Need 2 make quick decison im not sure about usyd, cause im from uts but i know from experience that uts is pretty flexible with the class timetabling (theres many times to choose from), so if u plan to do cadetships or work part-time, then uts could be a option 4u...

the maths is very easy for most people, but i think the maths for stats (a core subject of bus/comm degree) could be a bit challeging for ppl who didnt do any maths or extremely hate maths (and they'd probabaly would suk at maths also). so yeh stick with maths imo.

ditto that, i do business, and yes maths would come in handy and afterall 2u is assumed knowledge for commerce/business.

as said b4, wat degree are u planning to do, as some degrees have mathematics as a prerequisite or assumed knowledge i think, so yeh, the content learnt in yr12 matters depending on wat degree you plan to complete. so wat degrees have you been lookin at?

and forget bout ever havin a life.....haha.............but atleast when u retire u can buy an island or 3 :p :p :p

Hey, i was wondering for the B_business degree could u do extra units, like for example its 144 credit points that we have to do, but if i wanted to do another course thats worth 6credit points (makin a total of 150 credit points for my whole degree), would uts allow me do do that. the reason...

im curretly at uts doin b_bus and got a overall 'D' average for my 1st sem, im not sure if i want to transfer into the usyd b_comm, i jst want to consider all the options that i hav for nxt yr tats all.

u could do either a b_com or a b_eco at sydney and still be able to specialize in both areas, cause im sure both degrees allow u to double major. or you could do a B_business at UTS, they offer eco aswell as a Banking major that could give you accrediation with the AIBF and gettin worldwide...
