Nursing seem to be an industry that is always in demand.. So the 'prestige' factor may not be SO important. But I guess, a nursing degree from UTS would be better than getting one from a regional university.

I think you'd have to apply through UAC again the year after... Yeah it'd be considered a transfer of university from UNSW to UTS. From what I remember, transfer students are based on about 70% grades and 30% portfolio+interview. I "THINK" it's easier to internally transfer within UTS...
