Just wondering in which field of electrical engineering are UNSW grads more renown for? e.g power, signals etc etc.

I've seen this a few times here but can anyone shed any light if an employer will look at which uni you went to? Or do they moreso look at what grades you got and your personality? Cheers.

So if I was to transfer from UOW to UNSW in electrical engineering, are the courses similar enough that I can just keep on going 2nd year at UNSW without catching up? I.e I can transfer most of my credit points over?? I think thats what I meant.
