My teacher said treat question 8 like a comprehension question. Read it carefully, and always look back to previous parts of the question you are doing, as they will often be related.

It's possibly a little too late to try and learn all the words. I'd do practice unseens from past HSC and any trial papers you can get your hands on, and in the exam unseen translate so that you get across a good understanding of the whole passage rather than individual words. Good luck.
