Wow... The World Cup runs from the 13th of March to the 28th of April...talk about a bloated ICC cash cow, in which the final result is practically a bygone conclusion

    Business Studies Marks

Exam mark 92, Assessment 95 = HSC mark 94 I didn't think it was particularly hard, nor easy...although I wasn't very confident as I found many of the short answer questions quite ambiguous; e.g. Analyse how AMFS could use its superior environmentally friendly products to market...

    Ashes to Ashes

James Anderson - worst international test paceman since Mervyn Dillon and Tino Best...why couldn't Duncan Fletcher pick Saj Mahmood who, whilst inaccurate and unpredictable, clearly troubled Australia during the ICC Champions Trophy. And the Wheelie Bin is sinking into the depths of Richard...

I think AC could really creep through unnoticed...everyone's watching barca, chelsea, man u etc...though they don't deserve to be there They have a comically easy pool and whilst not making the big buys of Inter/Barca (and losing Sheva) they still have an unbelievable midfield (with Pirlo...

Khalid 'the cannibal' Bhoularouz --- one of the coolest defenders in the world --- going to Chelsea to replace Gallas. He's actually a good player and Abrahamovic would've gotten him dirt cheap. He also made a good purchase in Kalou...but with Sheva coming in and Drogba still there, you've...

    Sample student answer booklets/Standards packages

Does anyone know what aligned mark (approx) a 'high-range' and 'mid-range' response equates to from the sample student answer booklets? Also, can someone explain the standards packages of 2001/2002 to me. For instance, if one were to have written all the examples given for band 5/6 essays in...

I felt sorry for Trezeguet, world class striker, gets virtually no game time all tournament (Saha gets on before him?!) - then he's thrown in at the deep end and misses a penalty. Damn.

Why do people automatically assume that Materazzi made a racist comment? On another note, am I the only one who found SBS 'expert panel' incredibly irritating...it should have been Fozzie, Tony Palumbo and Les throughout. And no more Simon Hill commentary, Martin Tyler is the voice of football.

Merk's refereeing was also v. poor with Ghana/USA...dodgy penalty awarded and Essien banned for the match against Brazil. It's a shame Collina can't officiate anymore.

Nedved is such a legend, he deserved to go out in style rather than lose to the cheating, match fixing Italians. Oh well....still got the Dutch and Khalid the cannibal.

The curse of the visiting captain. Win the toss on a belter of a track and field. If Smitty fails again in Melbourne, he should bat around No.4. He had reasonable success against England there after Hoggard nailed him time after time. Anyway, I think Gibbs should always open - he's...

1082 runs in 218 overs. 4.96 runs per over. It's a joke and it makes a mockery of statistics and averages.

Greatest Xi For Each Team- Cricket

I wish! You must have Shaun Pollock there. In his prime, the opening bowling partnership of Pollock/Donald was unbelievable. It's a shame they didn't have great bowlers to continue with after the new ball, as Australia do - I mean, Pat Symcox was cool but he wasn't the best spin bowler.

If they keep batting the remaining 140 overs in the match (they wont, crap light in Pakistan cos its so polluted) at 5 an over (no reason to believe not - sehwag, with vvs, sachin and yuvraj to come) they should end up with around with around 1100 runs... ...nice.
