I'm in Sydney and got a call from ICAA today. The interview stuff isn't till mid october but sounds reasonably intense.

I'm doing first year commerce at sydney. I'm planning to do a marketing major (currently doing marketing research 1) and so far the degree seems fine. I have mates at UNSW and doesn't seem much different. Sorry I'm not much help, I just don't think its all bad.

Using the stylus you can either just write as normal and it recognises it, or you select the letters displayed on the screen. It would be a little slower than typing but it also seems a lot more convenient in regards to size.

What are people's opinions or preferences in regards to laptops vs PDAs?

I remember a lecturer at the UNSW open day saying that Economics would increase due to a cut in the intake of the course.

The UAI is a rank, so the top 21 people this year got 100. This doesn't mean that they necessarily got HSC marks of 100 in all their HSC marks but rather that they got marks higher than anyone else in the state. I think...... Sorry bout that, three similar replies all in a row.

95.5 SAM predicted 95.2 and some school UAI calculator said 95.7.

If u were just watching 7 news you would have seen me interviewed about HSC. Ever since people have been calling assuming I've topped the state or something. If only..

Well my problem is solved. I got a letter from the Board of Studies which gave my my PIN again and had info about results etc. Everyone else will get one soon if they haven't already

I've lost mine too.... At this stage I think I'll worry about it after HSC, but any ideas would be appreciated.

Well, mathematics is unlikely to be required, only recommended. I suggest you look into the scaling issues, cause even after my mark gets pushed down, I am still expecting a band 6. This doesn't compare to what I would get otherwise in Mathematics. That said, if you push yourself in business u...

I do very similar subjects to you (4u english, ecos, modern) and do both gen maths and business. So far i would recommend general maths cause its pretty much a steal. Surprisingly, it doesn't get scaled down *too* much. It depends if you think you should be capable of getting >95 in general...
