1. If I am the only student, say in Math Extension 2 class, is that mean I can stuff up my internal assessment (i.e. the teacher may set very hard or very easy exam just to warm up) as my internal mark would be adjusted according to my HSC mark anyway? If I am the only student, isn't that I automatically be ranked one, and the top HSC mark my class achieve (which is only me) will be my internal mark?
2. What if there are only two students in, again say Math Extension 2? So if I come last in internal assessment, but do better in HSC, our marks will be the same? And no matter how hard I try, I won't be able to beat the other guy if I ranked second internally, even if my HSC mark is far better than him. Is that true?
This is what I understand technically, but I believe BoS take into consideration some other factors. Can someone please enlighten me? Thank you.
