if youve played all the doom's
what do you prefer?

yes i know im old knews here, but saw doom 3 on sale for $25 in miranda other day and it sparked renewed interest in me since been playing alot of classic doom again. got the demo and its great, although cant get past the first level on noob since even noob workers need like 8 shots from the pistol, and the shotgun only shoots 2.

and feel free to leave comments on doom 3. im an avid classic fan.

I would have to say Doom II did it the best for me. I've had the game for over a decade now and over the years I still finish it time to time, although I've never attempted through the game on Ultra Violence. Doom III is a great game, but having just finished epics like Far Cry and Half Life 2 at the time, the gameplay of Doom III sort of lacked for me. If you're after a game with gameplay just like Doom II.. nothing revolutionary, but programmed around a graphics engine enough to make me shit diarrhea of amazement onto my Smurfs boxers, then Doom III will be an enjoyable experience. I thought F.E.A.R was scarier than this game though. <3 F.E.A.R.
