why is there such a shortage of accounting controversy in the news. i cant find a single article in the financial review that discusses any like a failure of accounting control systems.

that's because you need to choose a theme....cos the "failure of accounting control systems" is the broad topic...
need to be a little more specific in your research

i dont see how being more specific will help me find things, ill take whatever i get from the newspaper etc, but there doesnt seem to be any that relate to accounting.

go to the library website...and click on subject guides...then commerce and economics...then accounting...and finally click on FACTIVA...to search through the newspaper archive

Yes factiva is totally free if you are a UNSW student
just have to login with ur id/pass to access any Financial Review article or SMH or anything

Easiest way to access it is to go to the Library website, click Sirius and search for Factiva

only 12 at one time thru the UNSW proxy, from what i heard
