Sorry guys. I'm really struggling with these ones. This one looks deceptively simple yet I can't solve it. I have inserted the diagram into a word document. If anyone could help me, I'd greatly appreciate it.

i believe u have the old 3u fitz book, the question doesn't work, theres meant to be parallel lines (i have the new 3u fitz), i checked the same question

Yep, definitely the case. If there are parallel lines, angle at the centre is 180-38 = 142. Therefore reflex angle at the centre = 360-142 = 218. Then you use angle at the centre is twice the angle at the circumference. x = 109 =)
