I have been investigating the Bachelor of International Relations/Bachelor of Laws at ANU in Canberra and it looks pretty impressive.
But is it better than courses in Victoria such as Law/arts at Monash and Law/International relations at La Trobe?

What are the real benefits of ANU? What are the drawbacks?
Is going here and moving away from my home going to offer me opportunities that I would not get from a uni in Melbourne?

Honesty is appreciated

That is great information! Thanks :)
Would you have any idea of contact hours? As I would have to move to Canberra, would it mean 6 months at home and 6 months away.
Also does the course offer any better opportunities of jobs than other uni's?

Usually Arts/Law is about 12 hours a week.
