you mean the transition thing? I did it and it was so worth it... you get to know people quickly and you have someone to talk to if you get lost and stuff. I've made some friends from second and third year who I'll probably keep for a long time.

And the surprise was a scavenger hunt... as a result of us getting the questions right the setter of the questions ran around the Quad in a tutu in the middle of a bunch of tourists. First years should do it!
