if i want to do a course at uni that has a prerequsit of of 2 unit mahs and i do general is it still possible for me to get in

iam getting 90s in general..

and i think i can get the UAI mark i need
if i get the UAI mark is it possible or is there nothing i can do?

Yes, you can do a 'bridging course' sometime in Jan/Feb which will basically teach you the 2u maths course in about three weeks. Then you will fulfill the requirements.

i believe you can go the the Universitys website and find infomation about bridging courses...
but it is my understanding that there are basically no "pre-requistes" just the assumed knowledge, however if you do enter a course without the assumed knowledge then it is up to you to learn for yourself as they wont be teaching that during lectures. and you may or may not fall behind and end up failing :(

It depends upon what Uni you choose to go to but it's generally called 'Summer School' - ask your career advisor for a copy of the brochure you need or pick one up at one of the Uni days coming up
