So atm I was *kind of* considering B.Science @ UNSW as a backup if i don't get into usyd, but i've noticed the course here requires mathematics and chem as prerequisites.
Problem is i don't do either(dropped to general after year11), so i was wondering if i could cope without one or the other(i'd rather not do more than one bridging course).
I know that usyd has a subject called MATH1111 or something(introductory calculus), so does unsw have a subject similar to this ?

yeah, unsw has a course called I think MATH1011, I don't believe it can actually count as undergrad units though.

I'm pretty sure at either uni chemistry is fairly mandatory for most majors and can be very difficult if you did not do hsc chem.

What area were you looking to major in?

usyd doesn't have it as a pre-req, that said i'll be willing to do a chem bridging course, just rather not do more than one.
I was thinking of maybe somewhere along the lines of biology, or environmental science, im not too sure(i did physics + bio for hsc) so i guess i'll see what happens, but my interest definately lies within those areas atm.
