Does anyone know where I could get a large calendar that I could hang up and record important dates on for the upcoming HSC year? Preferably with important dates marked in (similar to the ones that public school teachers have). Thanks in advance!

Shouldn't be out this early yet cos HSC 2011 hasn't finished.

You could just by a diary and fill it in yourself. :)

Important dates are really:
- UAC application deadline
- UMAT deadlines
- HSC weeks

Those are the only things that really spring to mind in terms of things that are uniform for everyone in the state. Everything else is school-based. You'd be hardpressed to find a diary that has all those filled in.

Use Google Calendar, and fill them in yourself. Google Calendar is awesome - especially when you sync it with your iPhone or BlackBerry.

When you have to submit your UMAT application - and then the exam day itself. :)

I picked one up at the UTS open day. It had the important dates from July 2011 to December 2012.

I just made my own one before that. I made a new one each term & printed it off as A3 so I had enough space to write all the important dates in.

My physics teacher photocopies those ones the public school teachers get for us, really handy and convenient (weeks marked in and all).
