hey guys i was just wandering if anyone knows if i am allowed to take in a shape drawing template into the general mathematics examination? it has no formulas on it...it is the mathomat one

Well, if you draw like a 2 year old (like I do...) then a template can be useful.

Hmm...

I would probably check with BOS - maybe ring them up, or ask your teacher. You are allowed a "curve drawing template" or something like that... but as to whether that includes or excludes other shapes, I'm not sure. You probably are, but it's best to make sure officially beforehand, rather than risk it being confisticated or something in the exam.

Huh???

What is the point of taking a tamplete in when you have never used it through the prelim or the HSC course?? If you haven't used it..... There's no point.........

is that like a maths aid?
2u people take them into their exams.. but i dont really see what you could need it for?
a ruler and a pencil to draw graphs should be all good?

You can take in a "Mathomat" or something similar, provided that it doesn't have mathematical formulas written on it. There are some basic versions of these templates which are fine, but some of the more luxurious versions won't be allowed because they have too much information.
