As far as I know, no. The ability for something to insulate heat depends on the form that it's in, not just the structure of a molecule.

Take polystyrene for example. Without aeration, it can withstand high temperatures but it's not quite a thermal insulator however once you aerate it, it becomes foam which makes it an excellent thermal insulator.
