We ALL know Thucy's version of why it happened, but there appear to be a LOT of modern sources that disagree, one of them even outrightly saying that "Thucydides is quite wrong..."

And yes, Corinth seems to be the cause, supported by Corinth's statement of "Do not drive us in despair to seek another alliance".
