hi,
ive heard that u need at least DN in 1711 or 1011 in order to do comp1721, is this true? if so is there any chance u can do 1721 without a mark > 75%?

Yes. If you don't have the mark you can try make your case with the lecturer in charge to enrol - its probably andrewt.

but, if i'd have to give them a rating, 1711 - 10, 1721 - 8.5, and 2711 - (-999)

The best lectures you'll get in CSE is probably with Richard in 1711. 1721 isn't nearly as exciting, but you can't deny that the content you learn from andrewt is still very good.
